If you're not happy within 14 days of your first payment, contact us at support@mtd-go.co.uk and we'll refund that initial payment in full, provided we have not already filed a return or completed substantial chargeable work on your behalf.
Your statutory cancellation right
As a consumer buying online you generally have a 14-day "cooling-off" period to cancel. If you ask us to begin work during that period, you may be charged for work done up to the point you cancel.
Cancelling your subscription
You can cancel anytime by emailing support@mtd-go.co.uk or cancelling your Direct Debit. Cancellation stops future payments; we don't refund part-months once service for that period has been provided. Any agreed minimum term for promotional (50% off) pricing will be set out in your engagement letter.
One-off charges
The £200 Transition Bundle charge covers your 2025/26 tax return. Once that return has been prepared or filed, this amount is non-refundable.
Important
Cancelling with us does not remove your own legal obligations to HMRC. Make sure you have alternative arrangements in place to stay compliant.
